Professional Psychic
Insight, Guidance, and Support in Our Changing Times

When I saw this marquee advertising the two films above just before 2012 began, I couldn't resist chuckling as I thought of instead it as a sentence; perhaps what too many people were nervously feeling about the coming year. Being a psychic (amazingly, some folks actually think we psychics know it all!), everyone has been asking about 2012. “What is it all about?” “Will there be disasters?” If you have been following the mass media scuttlebutt, you are probably trying to decide as well, “Will the world end?” and “If so, is there anything I can do about it?”

My answers are: I don’t know, yes, no, and see that last answer…

Yes, it’s true; the Mayan Calendar Long Count calendar (only one of the three Mayan calendars) does end at December 21, 2012. But, it is far from the end of the world.

I believe, rather than Armageddon occurring, that in fact, what will begin to dissolve at a much faster pace are many of the structures, systems, and mindsets that have caused pain, suffering, greed, and even indifference for people, animals, and the earth.

While there could be more ahead in the way of struggle, strife, contention amongst humans as the old structures fight for their lives, and hiccups from the Earth, there is unimaginable good possible as the old ways wither and begin being replaced by a world with new possibilities.

So, it is the opportunity to begin to live in an entirely different way; to find faith, not fear, with every twist and turn of fate that this evolutionary process throws at us. Even faith in the unknown.

Although my clients enthuse to me about how unerringly accurate I have been for them, I prefer not to do much prediction. My forte as a psychic is on personal growth, soul evolution, and helping individuals, couples, and groups to live in a more conscious way, unfettered by doubts and past issues.

With that caveat to you, I will say a few things that I sense about the USA (where I live), and the world in terms of possible predictive scenarios. And at the end, you will get a nice dose of where I prefer you focus your energy: my tips for personal sanity, safety and health for the year 2012!

I think an attitude of innocence, play, lack of expectation, and joy is a good approach to this year! This girl I found playing hide-and-seek under a table at a craft fair in Santa Cruz, California seemed to have it down.

On the national front, the stock market will go for a wild up and down ride, but not crash entirely. Some of the world economies will teeter, but most will be brought back from the brink. Unusual new business models and business content which focus more on sustainability, the arts, health, and cooperation will actually begin to trickle into our national economy, as well as those of some European, southern hemisphere and South American countries.

New ways of being in the world, including how goods are purchased, will become necessary. A spirit of compassion and cooperation will become more important than having power over others, or power in the marketplace. Cooperation will actually become the most expedient way of surviving and thriving, and businesses built on that platform will do best.

2012 will begin to see more of these models permeating mass consciousness, the marketplace, the internet, and the media.

Technology, social media, entertainment and the fashion industries continue to be a big theme most everywhere. Social media will continue to expand, albeit with some redefinition. Although Twitter continues to grow and be invaluable in the world, a gradual decline of Facebook usage will emerge, with a grassroots type of platform replacing it. This new social media will supersede the Facebook dinosaur that was founded on competitive values with a way of connection offering far more privacy, less addictive features, and a courageously inventive bottom-line means of actually doing good as its revenues soar. I feel it originating from Texas, Massachusetts, or possibly Colorado. (Maybe even from the San Francisco Bay Area. Remarkably though, I sense not from Silicon Valley itself).
This technology grows slowly at first, with most large businesses, corporations, and celebrities the last to figure out that they should jump on the bandwagon. Not unlike Twitter at its inception, it grows amongst the geeks and tech savvy first. By the middle of 2013, this newbie joins Twitter as the preferred platform for millions who have wanted a viable Facebook alternative founded on the new, community-oriented and egalitarian premises rather than old commercial and consumer values.

Entertainment will continue to be huge business, but will take a turn from being mere escapism to becoming a vehicle for increasing consciousness and healing in more areas. It will be integrated into computers and hand-held devices more and more rapidly.

The “next Steve Jobs” is out there. But this “person” appears to be a team, such as Jobs and Wozniak were at first. (This team I sense as a male and female though). This new technology will actually include a way of using frequencies to catalyze healing whenever one is online or using a handheld device. This will have incredibly broad appeal, more than we can imagine now, owing to both an aging population, the breakdown of health for many from toxic attributes in the environment, and concern about epidemics. It will begin a whole new era in what tech is for, bringing it up to the next level of evolution, with numerous spin-offs to come.

There will also see some popularity of clothing which imparts healing to the wearer, giving the fashion industry as well a boost into it’s next level of usefulness. Artistic, beautiful designs will be more sought after than ever as forms of healing, whether the wearer is conscious of that effect or not.

Other new forms of healing will grace 2012. There will be a way of healing for serious (and minor) illnesses that uses a person’s voice, fed back to them in some way through computers or other technology.

I would personally like to predict that women’s bodies will no longer be the battleground for themselves and others, with the media beginning to feature rounder, older, or less “perfect” Hollywood image bodies. Unfortunately I sense this is one of the last bastions to go... maybe another year or so. But courageous women and men in this area, dissolving subjugation even as we speak, are making inroads. While it is more obvious (though brave!) to Occupy Wall Street, the old guard is most hidden and stealth in areas such as this, where Occupying Our Internalized Oppressors (for women) or Occupying Our Media-Induced Desires (for those whose partners are women) are relevant signposts. The good news is that I do foresee excellent strides in gay rights and some other areas of long-held oppressive attitudes.

Nationally, there will be more focus on food and healthy diet, as well as alternative healing. Americans will start realizing that they have been brainwashed into ways of eating that are not good for them, such as eating low-fat diets. There will be a resurgence of new, improved lower carbohydrate and higher “healthy fats” diets (such as paleo or primal). In addition, there will be a large growing awareness of the toxicity of genetically modified foods, to the point where the meaning of “GMO” will be as well-known as the meaning of “organic” (and concurrent increased activism will burgeon).

A new model for creating access to healthy, sustainable foods for the poor and underprivileged will be instituted. This model will have many adopters worldwide, catalyzing a dynamic positive change for thousands of people.

President Obama will have a very significant day in the sun as a result of some events later this year, and will be re-elected fair and square. However, there will be unforeseen changes in the way elections happen in the future as a result of what happens throughout 2012, and Election Day (and beyond) will be fraught with unexpected challenges. For the astrologically inclined, note that Mercury stations retrograde on Election Day, which is what happened in 2000, when Gore and Bush had that odd recount.

I have sensed that the earth does respond to the consciousness of its inhabitants. Some even believe governments now have technologies that can influence earth movements (I have no opinion here on that). With those factors, plus earthquake activity being notoriously difficult to predict, I offer the following potentials in quake activity. I feel some possible activity of significance in South America, Pacific Northwest, Philippines, Tehran, Morocco, and Hawaii. More shaking in New Zealand and Japan, but not as bad as before. California seems more stable than the Pacific Northwest right now, but that could change. The New Madrid fault looks active.

The earth and waters, as well as wind or fire (think: all of the elements) may provide extra challenges during this year of big new energies coming in. Wherever you live, have emergency supplies at work, home, and in your vehicle. Volcano eruptions and wild winds will most likely join floods and earthquakes as headlines in the year ahead.

Old structures will be crumbling, so expect the unexpected. The key to this year is to choose faith~even in what you cannot foresee nor control~over fear in each moment. You will witness unusual events outside of your frame of reference.

Spring and summer is when more significant changes will become obvious or unavoidable, as the energies of the new combust the energies of the old.

On the personal, emotional, and spiritual levels, this will be a year when unresolved grudges, hurts, jealousies, emotional wounds, resentments, fears, and suppressed anxieties will come up for review and release. Should any of those issues haunt you, now is the time to deal with them. If finances allow, get thee to a therapist, healer, coach, counselor. Or consider a personal growth-oriented psychic, astrologer or acupuncturist. If money is tight, make sure to ask your Higher Self, Inner Being, The Divine, Nature, (not to mention a trusted friend!), or whatever you believe in for assistance in releasing issues. Twelve Step groups (such as Alcoholics Anonymous) are now available for just about every emotional concern or addiction out there. There are no fees, and telephone meetings are even now abundant for the shy or busy, so don’t hesitate to get the help you need~now is the time. Look online for your area of concern and meeting times.

Chinese astrology indicates the New Year begins on January 23 this year, and as the year of the Water Dragon, feelings are important to feel and clear. Magic can happen in BIG ways this year as you make the commitment to first feel and then let go of what you have held onto.

Time in nature, resting, and other self-care such as healthy food, exercise, and stress release is vital. Things will move fast—SLOW DOWN to stay centered!

Many people who have been unemployed, had a move, or had a change in relationship this past year will find things changing again. 2011 was a year of cleaning up unfinished business. So do not feel a failure if your latest venture does not work out. As a species, we are going through our karma very rapidly now. You may, for example, feel that you left a long marriage for nothing if the new relationship fails. People need to understand that at this point in history, it is as if they are going through several lifetimes in one! So instead of seeing it as a failure, understand that it only took you a few months or a year to work through the lessons with the new person, place or job. Although you may have felt you were to spend the rest of your life with this new person, or in this ideal job or home you found, understand it was to clarify your Truth for the next step. 2013 and beyond will see many new, more appropriate liaisons in relationships, jobs, and ways of living. Trust the process and don’t hold on to what is meant to just clear you out for an even better situation.

For those who remain unemployed or wanting for a relationship, know that you are far from alone in your situation. Community and common solutions will be on the rise. Humanity will see that there are many better options than living in isolated units, homes, or relationships.

So many people lost loved ones this past year, more so than I have previously seen. Know that this is a time when different paths have been made available to all souls on earth, and some have chosen to go to a different reality for this next phase. Honor your loss as you must, but also honor their soul’s choice to leave, even when it appeared to be not their choice.

For all reading this, feel your feelings all the way, but in the end, see the changes in your life as a positive aspect of personal growth. All challenges are there to reach parts of your own resources that you may not have known you had access to! 2012 is calling for new ways of being, consuming, learning, connecting, loving. And your challenges are your soul’s way of getting you to those ultimately enhanced potentials.

There is ample opportunity for spiritual growth and extra expansion in the coming year. Some new and potent energies are arriving on the planet. It is time to begin to trust your own intuition as to what to do, where to be, how to act at each moment. Make certain to do centering activity daily so you can access that. For some, that is meditation; for others it is creativity, nature, exercise, cooking, laughter…the list is endless. You know what it is for you that gets you present and relaxed, open to what is, and able to be connected to your best self.

The main message is to stay in the moment, and take it one breath at a time. This will be a year of releasing fear and embracing Divine Love as a very key strategy to maintain inner peace.

On that note...I shall leave you with music (another great strategy to surf with the changes this year). I can't say I totally grok all the lyrics (ah, good old rock and roll…some say it’s actually just debate club references!), but I love watching this for a great uplifting feeling of community, joy, and laughter about any possible end of the world.

Take good care of yourself!
